An additional day of RTT for agents with a seniority between 20 and 39 years, and two days from 40 years of presence.

This is the measure taken last April by the City of Besançon, its urban community and its municipal center for social action (CCAL).

These three administrations had to explain themselves on Tuesday before the administrative court of the capital of Doubs.

They were prosecuted there by the Prefecture, reports L'Est Républicain.

The latter considers that these choices are “contrary to the legal duration of working time and the principle of equal treatment between agents”.

Response from the administrations involved?

"The seniority of the agents is a factor of wear and hardship [...] By granting modest days of RTT per year in addition to these agents, this for a better recovery, the objective being to lower the cost of the 'absenteeism,' explained their lawyer according to the regional daily.

The judgment was reserved.
