“We don’t have such a topic on our agenda,” Peskov said, commenting on the idea to change the status of the special operation after the West’s decision to supply tanks to Ukraine.

Earlier, State Duma deputy from the Crimean region Mikhail Sheremet proposed changing the status of the Russian special operation in Ukraine in connection with the decision of the United States and Germany to supply tanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On January 25, the German government announced that it would send Ukraine 14 Leopard 2A6 tanks from the stocks of the Bundeswehr.

Berlin will also issue permission to other countries to re-export German Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.
