It's hard to tell the “new” Polestar 2 from the old one.
At most, the Sino-Swedish gets closer to the Polestar 3 at the front end.
But other than that, nothing to get your teeth into.
The real novelties are invisible, and yet they are important.
First of all, the new electric motor now drives the rear wheels (front on the previous version), gains 68 hp (299 hp) and, thanks to a new 82 kWh battery, the autonomy of this "Long Range" version now reaches 635 km!
As for the entry-level version, it is content with a 69 kWh battery for a range of 518 km.
421 hp for the top of the range
For those who want extra horsepower, the Polestar 2 is available in a four-wheel-drive version powered by two electric motors.
Total power reaches 421 hp for a range of 592 km.
Note that an even more powerful "Performance Pack" version is also available.
