“I am sure, given the analysis of what is happening ... the influence of Britain is much higher than the US and the West in general,” he said.
According to Medvedchuk, it was Britain that "seized the reins of influence and control in Ukraine" and "occupies a serious segment in matters of external governance."
He stressed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his entourage know that no matter what happens in Ukraine, they can always leave the country and "will live in peace."
“Therefore, they so calmly handed over the country to be torn to pieces, to further processes of impoverishment.
They gave the country as a springboard for confrontation between Russia and the West,” Medvedchuk said.
Medvedchuk also said that the Ukrainian military is fighting for the interests of the West.
