The Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of four US-made M777 artillery systems in the Krasnolimansky direction in a day.

As the official representative of the department, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, stated during the briefing, Russian troops launched air and artillery strikes in this direction, as a result of which units of the 25th airborne and 95th airborne assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk People's Republic were hit ( DPR), as well as in the area of ​​​​Serebryansky forestry.

“Enemy losses per day in this direction amounted to up to 70 servicemen killed and wounded, two armored combat vehicles and four US-made M777 artillery systems,” Konashenkov said.

In addition, in the Kupyansk direction, the artillery of the Zapadnaya group of forces inflicted fire damage on the accumulations of manpower of the 14th and 92nd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region and the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR).

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, more than 20 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, an armored combat vehicle, a pickup truck and a D-20 howitzer were destroyed.

In the Donetsk direction, the grouping of troops "Southern" during the offensive took more advantageous lines and positions.

Over 40 Ukrainian servicemen, an infantry fighting vehicle, two Grad multiple launch rocket launchers (MLRS), a US-made M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery mount, two D-20 and Giacint-B howitzers, as well as a counter-battery radar made in the USA AN/TPQ-50 and an artillery ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the South-Donetsk and Zaporizhia directions, the group of troops "Vostok" inflicted fire damage on the enemy in the DPR and the Zaporozhye region.

As specified in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the losses of the enemy in this direction amounted to 60 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, three armored combat vehicles and two pickup trucks.

The Russian military also destroyed two storage facilities for fuel for military equipment and three storage facilities for artillery ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Kherson direction, three D-20 howitzers, a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer, as well as two US-made AN / TPQ-37 and AN / TPQ-50 counter-battery radars were destroyed as part of counter-battery combat.

Along with this, four warehouses with ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit.

Aviation, missile troops and artillery of the group of Russian troops hit 83 enemy artillery units in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 119 districts in a day.

In particular, near the city of Ochakov (Nikolaev region), the radar station of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed.

Fighter aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force.

In addition, Russian air defense systems shot down another Su-25 of the Ukrainian Air Force.

Along with this, eight Ukrainian drones were destroyed and seven rockets of the Alder, Uragan and HIMARS systems were intercepted.

In addition, an anti-radar missile manufactured by the US HARM was shot down in the Kherson region.

The situation in the Ugledar region

Advisor to the Acting Head of the DPR, Yan Gagin, said that the assault on Ugledar was complicated by a large number of mines with associated underground infrastructure.

“There is underground infrastructure in the city, there are quite a lot of mines with associated underground infrastructure, this will complicate the assault activities in the same way as it was in Mariupol and Soledar,” Gagin said on the air of the Russia 1 TV channel.

According to him, fierce battles are taking place near Ugledar, Russian troops are occupying new positions on the outskirts of the city.

In particular, according to Gagin, the RF Armed Forces took control of the highway leading to the city from Pokrovsky.

He also said that the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine represented in the city are scattered, they lack communications and coordination of actions.

In addition, the adviser to the acting head of the DPR explained that after the capture of Vuhledar, the Russian military will be able to cut off the supply of ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since it is from this direction that the Ukrainian military strikes at Donetsk.
