The report says that the Turkish company Karpowership signed a memorandum with the Energy Company of Ukraine JSC on the supply of floating power plants with a capacity of 500 MW to Ukraine.

According to the agency, it is also allowed to place floating power plants in Moldovan and Romanian ports with the supply of electricity to Ukrainian networks through these states. 

It is noted that both companies will discuss this possibility with the authorities of Romania and Moldova.

On January 23, Ukrenergo reported emergency power outages in a number of regions of Ukraine.
