A family tragedy.. A nurse attempts suicide after her two children were killed and the third survived

Massachusetts police said a nurse strangled her two young children until they breathed, then tried to kill her third infant before jumping out of her window in a failed suicide attempt.

According to the New York Post, Lindsey Clancy, 32, was accused of killing her 5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son, while the infant survived, but his condition is unstable, while the mother, who is in police custody, is recovering in Boston Hospital.

The police arrived at the family home after a call from Clancy's husband to report that she had jumped out of the window of the house, and the police said that they found three children under the age of five in the house, unconscious, with clear signs of severe shock.

After inspecting the three children, the police confirmed the death of two and the wounding of a seven-month-old baby.
