He had been wanted since last summer.

According to a police source, a 23-year-old man was arrested Monday in Toulouse at the end of the day by the group of attacks on people from the departmental security in the context of a case of violence which had hit the headlines in the heart of the summer vacation.

On the night of August 26 to 27, a night owl was violently beaten by two individuals on a scooter, before falling to the ground after receiving a blow from his helmet, and being rolled over by the two thugs.

A scene of incredible violence which had been filmed by the city's CCTV cameras and whose images had leaked on social networks.

The victim escaped with a broken jaw and head trauma.

And the Minister of the Interior himself had indicated that everything would be done to arrest his two attackers.

Less than fifteen days after the events, a first suspect, aged 20, was arrested and referred for "attempted murder".

Five months later, it is therefore his accomplice, who would be the driver of the scooter, who has just been brought before the Toulouse prosecutor's office.

Like his sidekick, he could be indicted as part of the investigation opened for attempted homicide and placed in pre-trial detention.
