After a first major demonstration against the pension reform which brought together 1.2 million people in France, the unions promised a new day of mobilization on Tuesday January 31.

Which sectors will be affected?

What will this day look like?

Faced with the protest against the pension reform, the government is struggling to convince the French and the unions.

The inter-union remains more than ever mobilized and plans a black Tuesday on January 31.

Among the striking sectors: rail and air transport, the public service and refiners.

In rail and air transport

Once again, the bulk of the movement is expected in the transport sector.

On the rail side, the four SNCF trade union organizations have once again called for a day of "massive" mobilization.

Same story on the side of the RATP.

All traffic forecasts will be known no earlier than 48 hours in advance.

In air transport, the call has also been heard.

The unions at Paris Charles-de-Gaulle airport will be mobilized on January 31.

In the energy sector

In refineries, we do not want to wait until January 31st.

CGT Pétrole called a strike for 48 hours from January 26, before a second call to strike for 72 hours from February 6.

In schools

Regarding schools, their operation is once again likely to be very disrupted, even more than six days ago.

All the unions are calling for an amplification of the strike.

According to the Snes-FSU, the leading secondary union, 65% of college and high school teachers were on strike on Thursday January 19.

For its part, the Ministry of National Education had identified a rate of striking teachers of 42.35% in primary and 34.66% in secondary (middle and high schools).

But this time, the students will also take to the streets.

Blockades are to be expected in high schools.

Everything therefore suggests that we are heading towards a Black Tuesday.

Especially when we know that other sectors will be mobilized such as dockers and ski resorts.
