The head of Ras Al Khaimah Courts, Counselor Ahmed Muhammad Al Khatri, said that the Family Court completed 100% of the cases before it during the past year, explaining that the number of cases reached 930 cases, all of which were decided, so that the court records at the beginning of this year that it is free of any remaining family cases from last year.

He pointed out that the courts considered 619 preliminary cases and 311 appeal cases, and the case management offices were able to finalize 114 family cases with “reconciliation and amicable settlement” between the parties, stressing that these results would not have been achieved without the support of His Highness Sheikh Muhammad bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah. He mentioned that the "family counseling" service provided 1,754 family consultations, by experienced and specialized consultants, whether by phone or personal attendance at the family court headquarters, which contributed to solving family problems and addressing marital disputes quickly and immediately, with complete privacy and confidentiality.

Al-Khatiri mentioned that the guideline for organizing some substantive and procedural rules in personal status matters has proven its effectiveness and success in setting up a specific work mechanism, clarity of procedures before litigants, and speedy completion of cases, as the benefit included employees, lawyers and community members, as the guide clarified all the rules and procedures related to family guidance. and personal status in a simplified and accessible way, thus becoming a guiding portal for the beneficiaries of the service.
