  According to CNN, the suspect, a 67-year-old Asian man, has been arrested.

One shooting occurred at the mushroom farm and the other near the trucking facility, about two miles away, the report said.

Currently, the case is under investigation.

  According to the report, San Mateo County Sheriff Sergeant Christina Corpus said at a press conference that at around 14:22 that day, four people were found dead and one more was found in the 12700 block of Cabrillo Highway was seriously injured; shortly thereafter, three more people were found dead at another location in the area.

  The report also stated that the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office revealed that the suspect in the shooting was a 67-year-old Half Moon Bay resident. He was arrested at around 16:40 on the same day, and the police found a semi-automatic pistol in his car.

  The motive for the shooting is unclear, but police believe the suspect acted alone and there was no threat to the rest of the community.

  According to reports, Half Moon Bay District Councilor Debbie Rudock said that the victims of the shooting were Asian workers on the farm, but the report did not specify the nationality of the victims.

  According to the New York Times, this is the second mass shooting in California within three days.
