The US Ambassador to the UN interrupted the reporter after talking about American weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The journalist asked if the United States could promise to end the conflict through diplomacy, to which the American envoy replied that only Russia could promise this. 

“But the United States is prolonging the war by arming Ukraine, so...” Trevelyan quoted RIA Novosti as saying, which was interrupted by an American diplomat.

Thomas-Greenfield laid the blame for the continuation of hostilities on Russia.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the Ukrainian people will have to pay for pseudo-support in the form of supplies of Western weapons.

According to CNN columnist Nick Welsh, NATO countries are on the verge of forcing Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to sign a peace treaty with Russia over arms supplies.
