The Ukrainian edition "STRANA.ua" earlier reported on the possible resignation of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal in connection with corruption scandals in the country.
The deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, confirmed that he had written a letter of resignation from his post.
Also, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Vyacheslav Shapovalov wrote a resignation letter amid the scandal.
At the same time, a member of the House of Representatives of the US Congress, Marjorie Taylor Green, called Ukraine one of the most corrupt countries in the world and drew attention to the importance of an audit of aid allocated to Ukraine.
