The current Renault Espace had already abandoned its monovolume DNA to become a crossover in 2015. The next one will be downright an SUV, with 5 or 7 seats.

Much more to do, therefore, with the first generation of Space which had been presented for the first time in 1983, and therefore celebrates its fortieth anniversary this year.

Electrified

Apart from its name, and the fact that it is based on the Alliance's CMF-CD platform (like the Renault Austral), Renault does not reveal anything about this future model.

At best, we know that it will be “comfortable, innovative and top-of-the-range”.

But as the last letter of the name space is a golden E, we can imagine that the engine will be electrified.
