There are schools where the staff are unsure of the boundaries for what to report and there is uncertainty among the staff about how they should work to detect violations online.

It is unusual for the auditors to do a follow-up review but in this case it was deemed necessary.

- We take the shortcomings seriously and want to make sure that there is a change, says Kristian Einarsen (MED), chairman of the audit Laholm to SVT.

The Children's and Youth Board partially carries out effective work to counteract abusive treatment and promote equal treatment within primary schools, the report says.

But there is a difference between how the schools do it, which risks equivalence.

Deficiencies at the administrative level

The auditors assess that there is a lack of sufficient analysis of the work to counteract abusive treatment both at administrative level and at certain schools.

One of the measures that the auditors want to see is a systematic control of how cases of abusive treatment are investigated within a reasonable time.

Even the School Inspectorate still sees shortcomings in terms of measures against abusive treatment at Lagaholm school, something SVT news Halland recently reported on.

The board must now tell the auditors how it intends to remedy the deficiencies.
