The waste is then turned into compost.

“Here, we are in a relatively disadvantaged neighborhood where sorting in general is not carried out, it is one of the lowest sorting rates in all of France”, explained to our colleagues a member of the start-up. .

Maintain social ties

In addition to being ecological, the initiative helps maintain social ties.

Because the horse is more than appreciated and often stopped during its journeys in town, two days a week.

The inhabitants play the sorting game.

Collection is also done from certain professionals or local authorities.

In the end, the waste is transported to a sorting center, then is crushed and transformed into compost.

The latter is then sold to individuals, farmers or used for re-vegetation projects in the city.

The project can count on several supports since 2020. By next September, the start-up will know if it is continuing the adventure.
