Grey, cold: the weather will not change much this Wednesday from what France has known since the start of the week.

The sky will remain overcast and low over most regions, some snowflakes will be possible towards the Massif Central in the morning, then as far as the Pyrenees in the afternoon.

On Corsica, cloudy periods will remain numerous but the showers, still frequent in the morning on the eastern side of the island, will gradually diminish over the course of the day.

On the Mediterranean arc, cloudy periods and sunny spells will alternate but the weather will be dry.

On the other hand, on the border Alps, the sky will be very crowded in the morning and snowfall will occur down to low altitudes before a lull in the afternoon.

The wind will still blow in the Gulf of Lion, the Tramontana strengthening over the hours with gusts up to 70 to 80 km / h.

The northeast wind will also be noticeable over Corsica but it will run out of steam at the end of the day.

Always frosts

In the evening, a new, less active disturbance will approach the Channel coasts giving a little rain but, during the night, progressing inland and arriving on cold ground, east of Hauts-de-France. -France to Poitou, this precipitation will be accompanied by a risk of freezing rain or light snowfall.

As for temperatures, frosts will still be widespread in the south of the country with minimums between -6 and 0 degrees in the interior.
