G7 = The foreign ministers of the seven major countries held an online meeting on the night of the 24th, Japan time, and agreed to continue the necessary support for Ukraine, including further winter support.

The meeting was held at the invitation of Japan's Foreign Minister Hayashi, who holds the presidency of the G7, and U.S. Secretary of State Brinken, and was attended by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Kuleva and foreign ministers from relevant European countries.



In addition, since Russia's attacks have caused damage to Ukraine's power facilities and other facilities, they exchanged views on the maintenance and restoration of infrastructure, and agreed to continue the necessary assistance, including further winter assistance.



Minister Hayashi also explained that Japan is gradually providing about 300 power generators and 83,500 "solar lanterns" that can be charged with sunlight.



In addition, he expressed his intention to take the lead in providing stronger support from the international community than ever before as the chair of the G7.



In response, Minister of Foreign Affairs Kureba expressed appreciation for the G7 discussion on assistance to Ukraine in the energy sector.
