Arestovich said that in the anthem of Ukraine there are lines “let us lay down our souls and bodies for freedom.”
Pointing to these words, the politician wondered if there was at least some constructive element in the Ukrainian anthem.
“What will happen in the world after the “victory”?
There is only “we will put our soul and body”, and what’s next?” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
According to Arestovich, such language in the anthem actually means that Ukrainian citizens are ready to participate in the conflict until everyone is dead.
He added that such concepts contain "national death, catastrophe" for the citizens of the country.
