CA Cedergrens outside Mönsterås is one of the country's largest egg producers and at the beginning of January it became known that the farm was affected by salmonella.

Several food chains recalled eggs from the farm, which in turn had to kill 164,000 laying hens according to a decision from the Swedish Agricultural Agency.

Now they have requested just over three million kroner in compensation from the Swedish Agricultural Agency.

Additional eggs from the egg producer outside Mönsterås are now being recalled.
