A fire ravaged a residential pavilion overnight from Saturday to Sunday in Coulommiers (Seine-et-Marne).

The flames injured two and killed three dogs, reports

The alert was given around 3 a.m.

According to a witness, two simultaneous fire starts would have taken on the ground floor and on the floor of the house.

The 42-year-old mother was able to leave the accommodation unscathed.

Three dogs died in the flames

Her 12-year-old son was slightly injured in the fire and her other son, 22, was seriously burned.

Supported by the emergency services, he was transported in a worrying state to a Parisian hospital.

Of the four dogs in the family, only one was able to get out in time.

The others perished in the fire, which was brought under control around 5 a.m. thanks to a large number of firefighters and police.

The surviving mother, her children and the dog were temporarily taken in by a neighbor.
