The statement says that this step is of a forced nature and is connected with the destructive line of the United States and EU countries in this UN regional commission.
“These states, in violation of internal procedures, “pushed through” a number of illegitimate decisions in the UNECE Executive Committee aimed at limiting interaction between Russia and the Commission,” the Foreign Ministry notes.
The ministry also announced its readiness to return to the practice of making contributions to the UNECE after the restoration of a “respectful and constructive” interstate dialogue at the Commission site.
