Ryabkov called statements about the supply of ATACMS missiles to Kyiv an element of psychological warfare

According to him, psychological warfare is part of the "increasing hybrid war" of Western states led by the United States against Russia.

“Escalation is the most dangerous path, and the consequences can be unpredictable.

These signals of ours are not perceived, ”RIA Novosti quotes the deputy foreign minister.

Ryabkov also stressed that Western military equipment, coming to Ukraine in an increasing flow, would be literally ground to pieces.

He noted that the goals of the special military operation will be achieved in any case.

Earlier, Michael McCall, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the US House of Representatives, announced the need to transfer ATACMS missiles to Kyiv for strikes in Crimea.

Prior to this, Politico reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked the US authorities for ATACMS missiles with a range of more than 300 km, but Washington did not change its position and refused Kyiv.

In September, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Crimea is an integral part of Russia and that claims to Russian territory would receive a proper response. 

Crimea became a Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014: the majority of residents voted for reunification with Russia.
