The "Caricature Prize of German Newspapers" goes to Achim Greser and Heribert Lenz for a cartoon of Putin.

Under the title “Putin private”, the cartoonists working as a duo show Russian President Vladimir Putin in a bathrobe walking through the Kremlin on a red carpet.

The cartoon appeared in this newspaper in 2022.

The prize for political caricatures is donated by the Federal Association of Digital Publishers and Newspaper Publishers (BDZV).

The winners were published on Monday.

The "Retrospective 2022" prize for political photography, donated by the Rhineland-Palatinate state representation in Berlin, goes to the Frankfurt photographer Bernd Kammerer in the "Best Photo" category.
