An ATM (ATM) was attacked with explosives overnight from Friday to Saturday in downtown Valenton (Val-de-Marne).
Three men would be at the origin of this degradation, which made the automaton unusable, reports

The incident occurred around 3 a.m.
Masked faces, the three suspects ripped open the CIC distributor using two canisters of ethylene gas.
The bank's security system kicked in, squirting indelible ink onto the banknotes.
The criminals stole several cash boxes and fled.

The police immediately started looking for the suspects.
At the same time, deminers intervened on site to secure the area.
Alerted to a brush fire, firefighters discovered several boxes and 50 euro notes elsewhere in the town.
A suspect has been arrested and the investigation is continuing.
The mayor of Valenton indicated that the CIC would put the device back into operation “quickly”.
It is indeed one of the only two ATMs in the city.
