Yemen.. Houthi militias fail to launch "ballistic" and escalate in 4 governorates

Today, the terrorist Houthi militia renewed its attacks against the positions of the Yemeni army and the resistance in Taiz Governorate, and bombed civilians in Bayhan, Shabwa, with marches, while the battles continued on the fronts of western Marib and northern Lahj, with violations continuing in Hamadan, Sana'a.

Field sources in Taiz confirmed that the Houthi militia had launched intense bombardment of army and resistance positions in the vicinity of Jabal Han in the Al-Dhabab front, west of the city.

According to the sources, these attacks were responded to by the army and resistance forces, and the militias suffered losses among their members and combat equipment.

Meanwhile, the militias blew up the house of a resident of the village of Arada in the Hawamrah district of the Mawiyah district, east of Taiz, on the grounds of his refusal for the militias to establish a military site near his house and neighboring houses.

During the past few days, the militias sent combat reinforcements and weapons to the fronts of Taiz and its surroundings, as they escalated on various fronts.

In Shabwa, the militia bombed the homes of civilians in the Al-Quwaim district of the Bayhan district, with booby-trapped marches, which led to the destruction of the house of one of the residents of the area, as part of its support for the terrorist elements who are being pursued by the Shabwa Defense Forces in the districts of Nisab and Al-Rawdah.

In Ibb, informed sources confirmed the failure of the Houthi militia to launch a ballistic missile from a camp of the former Republican Guard in Yarim district, which exploded during its launch, killing and injuring a number of Houthi elements, including foreign missile experts.

In Marib, the army and resistance forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by Houthi elements, under heavy fire cover, towards their positions in Al-Kassara and Al-Mushajah in the Serwah district, west of the governorate, according to field sources, confirming the continuation of the establishment of Houthi sites in the center of the district.

The sources indicated that the militias have established a combat site west of Habbab in Sirwah, and installed missile launchers and booby-trapped drones, which were brought from their warehouses near the port of Hodeidah on the western coast.

In Saada, the army forces targeted combat movements of Houthi militia members in the border district of Shada, causing three deaths and a number of injuries.

In Al-Jawf, clashes continued between the army and the militias on the Al-Abtar front in Al-Yatma area, north of the governorate, leaving dead and wounded.

Meanwhile, armed tensions have resumed between the Bani Nof tribes in Al-Jawf and the Houthi militia, due to the latter's refusal to release the abducted tribesmen, according to a tribal source.

In Sana'a, a Houthi leader killed the prominent tribal leader belonging to the Rada'a tribes in Al-Bayda, Abdullah Saeed Al-Hamidi, in the Attan area, south of the capital, which prompted the Rada'a tribes to rally in Sana'a to demand the handover of the killer, threatening escalation in the event of refusal.

In addition, the militias continued to abuse the people of the villages of Beit Dudah, Beit Al-Hussam, Beit Bishr, Khubara, Beit Saala and Al-Asha, in the Al-Jahiliya area of Hamedan district, in addition to the continuation of the experimentation and confiscation of lands, and the besieging of homes, under a new pretext of searching for weapons and missiles.

On the other hand, the Saudi project for demining mines in Yemen, "Masam", announced that it was able to clear 1,045 mines during the third week of January in separate Yemeni regions.

The project stated in a statement that the total number of mines removed since the beginning of the project rose to 383,193 mines, which were randomly planted by the Houthi militia in separate areas.
