The senator recalled that catastrophic problems for the country began in Ukraine in 2014, when a pro-Western coup was carried out there.
Klimov noted that by choosing a course towards rapprochement with NATO, Moldova runs the risk of becoming another theater of military operations of the North Atlantic Alliance.
Earlier, Sandu did not rule out Moldova's refusal of a neutral status in order to join NATO.
