Foreign media reported that US police are confronting a suspect in a mass shooting in Los Angeles (LA) County.
CNN and AFP reported citing law enforcement sources that many police cars in Torrance, California, surrounded and confronted a white van that the suspect had fled.
In addition, the LA County Sheriff's Office, which identified an Asian male as a suspect, released a photo of the suspect on social media.
The suspect was reportedly spotted wearing a black leather jacket, fur hat and glasses on surveillance cameras near the scene.
Sheriff Robert Luna urged residents to be vigilant, saying the suspect "must be considered armed at this time."
According to police, the suspect opened fire on the night of the 21st (local time) at Star Dance, a dance school in Monterey Park, where many Asian residents live, killing at least 10 people and injuring 10 others.
