Dear readers,

the World Economic Forum in Davos is over

, and the most fascinating appointment I had was not with a politician or the CEO of a large corporation,

but with Jan Goetz.

He is one of the co-founders of a Finnish-German manufacturer of quantum computers.

Goetz is a young physicist with bright ideas and a big plan: he wants to build the European Airbus for quantum computers.

That sounds overly ambitious at first.

But when he talks about his project, everything becomes very plausible.

You can only keep your fingers crossed.

It is also interesting

what 99-year-old Henry Kissinger said about the war in Ukraine

.

He has a suggestion as to how and when the war could end.

Is he realistic?

Here, too, one cannot know, but his thoughts were worth reading and hearing.

But it's not just big politics.

Over the past few days, many of you have been very interested in a play by Katrin Hummel, which is about

successful women over the age of 50

who wish to find a new man again.

This is harder than you would think.

Why is that?

And is it changeable?

Andrea Simmer, a psychologist with her own practice in Hamburg and who also works as a consultant for the dating portal Lemonswan, can confirm that there are

not that many men on the market for women around 50

are: “These women want a man who is not much older than themselves, but these men are always looking for a woman who is at least five years younger.

So they miss each other." And: "Being rich, beautiful and successful is a disadvantage for women, unfortunately I can't do anything about that." That intimidates many men, "because a man's self-esteem often increases in proportion to his income".

And something else practical from everyday sporting life.

Stefanie Sippel has

put together tips on how freestyle swimming works

.

This is interesting for everyone who is tired of the endless breaststroke.

"You push yourself faster through the water if your arms reach into the water slowly and particularly far in front." And the legs?

"The legs should remain as straight as possible." Why?

"If you hit your whole leg, you have more power and save energy." Therefore: "Don't bend your knees too much." But there are a few more tips.
