Tropical Storm Cheneso which affected the northeast of the Big Island on Thursday morning has weakened, but heavy rains are still expected until Tuesday in the northwest and southeast of the country, warns the management of Meteorology.

According to the provisional report of the BNGRC, the National Office of Risk and Disaster Management, the storm left one dead, one missing and nearly 2,700 victims in two northern regions.
