Shortly after Professor Ramsey's thesis justifying the comfort women in 2020 was announced, there was a great controversy, with more than 3,000 prominent American historians and economists, including Nobel Prize winners, turning the courtroom and protesting.

[Albert Choi/Professor of Law School, University of Michigan: I don't think I've ever seen more than 1,000 signatures in such a short time.]

Accordingly, the academic journal that published Ramsey's thesis, Legal Economics International Review, entered the thesis review. Went.

A total of four historians participated in the reexamination, and all of them expressed concerns and raised issues with Ramsey's method of interpreting the data.

However, after two years of lengthy discussion, the journal concluded that it would not withdraw the paper.

Everyone found out that Ram Zier's thesis was discredited by his fellow scholars as well.

[Min Byeong-gap/Professor of Queens College, City University of New York: (The claim of Ramsey in academia) has never been accepted.

(After the paper was published) Japan received a lot of criticism from international human rights organizations, but it is still the same, and there is actually nothing to be gained from there (Japanese far-right groups).]

Korean and American scholars refute this, saying that Japanese far-right forces are still using Ramsey's thesis He said he would continue his academic activities.
