Serious accident this Friday morning in Saint-Léger-les-Vignes (Loire-Atlantique), south of Nantes.
For reasons that remain to be specified, a car carrying five people left the road, around 8:15 a.m., and fell into a water reservoir belonging to a market gardening company.
The firefighters were dispatched to the scene but the driver could not be extricated in time and was declared dead by the Samu, reports the departmental fire and rescue service (Sdis).
He was 28 years old.
The four passengers managed to get out on their own.
In hypothermia, however, they had to be taken care of.
About thirty firefighters were mobilized on the intervention.
