sexually assaulting a

23-year-old girl at the Sutton nightclub -located in the Catalan capital- on the night of December 30-31.

His wife, Joana Sanz (29), a day before knowing this information, has uploaded a supporting image.

In the photo uploaded to the stories of the model's Instagram profile, the

soccer player's hand appears intertwined with hers.

Hours before said message, she published another in which she thanked for the support received these days, in

"this black beginning of the year"

and stated that she-she has been missing from the networks for weeks-she was going to return.

On January 9, an interview that Joana Sanz gave to Antena 3 was broadcast in which she explained her version of what happened, although she was not present that night.
