Turkish Foreign Minister announced the country's focus on achieving results in policy with Syria

He spoke about this at a meeting with compatriots living in the United States, the Yeni Akit newspaper reports.

“Recently, we started a process with the regime in Syria to revive and complete a political solution, or rather a political process that we have not been able to achieve.

We want the Syrians to return to their homes,” the Turkish diplomat said.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the issue of normalizing relations between Syria and Turkey during telephone conversations.

Also, the Syrian Foreign Ministry said that the normalization of relations with Turkey is impossible without ending the occupation.
