  "With hope and a new beginning, I wish you and your family good health and happiness in the new year." At the end of the video, Guterres said "thank you" in Chinese.

  Since taking office as Secretary-General of the United Nations in January 2017, Guterres has delivered a speech via video every year to congratulate the Chinese New Year.
