North Korea announced that it had adopted the "Pyongyang Culture and Language Protection Law" at the Supreme People's Assembly held for two days from the day before yesterday (17th).



Emphasizing the importance of establishing a subject in language life, North Korea stated that the 'Pyongyang Cultural Language Protection Act' regulates important issues to protect Pyongyang cultural language.

The National Intelligence Service reported to the National Assembly Intelligence Committee that in 2021, North Korea is cracking down on South Korean-style speech and clothing, such as banning expressions such as "brother" and "boyfriend."
