According to the publication, the transfer of tanks is not planned due to difficulties with logistics and maintenance, and not fear of further escalation of the conflict.

It is also noted that the Stryker armored personnel carriers may be included in the military aid package. 

White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said earlier that the US could announce a new aid package for Ukraine by the end of this week.
