SNCF employees are mobilized this Thursday against the government's pension reform project.

Traffic will be very largely disrupted, with sometimes only 1 TER out of 10 in circulation.

So, in Nice, users are torn between their support for the strikers and their annoyance.

Reduced electricity production, closed classes and abolished trains: the mobilization of the public service is strong this Thursday, at the call of the union forces.

Objective of the latter and the demonstrators: to show their opposition to the pension reform, wanted by the government.

But in stations, passengers are the first to be affected by this new strike movement.

“There should be more trains”

In Nice, users look anxiously at billboards, hoping to find their train.

"There, our train to Marseille is late. But in Marseille, we have to take a train to Paris, so it's a bit of a hassle", concedes Pauline, at the microphone of Europe 1. "I had to take a train this afternoon and finally, they were all canceled, so I had no choice but to take the only train going to Toulon, at 6:25 a.m.", explains Lorenzo a little further on the platform.

The 17-year-old says he "understands" the movement, but "there should be more trains. 1 TER out of 10 is too little," he says.

A strike understood by users

For others, the galley started last night.

"I arrived yesterday in Nice five hours late," annoys Pierre, on a business trip to the city.

"I took a round trip and it turns out that my Marseille-Paris, which I have to take after, is not even displayed on my phone. So I'm going to get on a train and we'll see," he concludes. , even if the man claims to "understand" the reasons for the strike.

So this Thursday morning, the fewer trains are more crowded than usual.

But no anger in the station, many users met say they understand the strike while admitting that it does not suit them.
