The woman's skin is very fragile and has therefore been damaged after the operation.
A month after the operation, the woman sought care again and by then she had suffered blood poisoning triggered by the wound, with several body organs failing as a result.
The patient is being cared for in the intensive care unit at Västervik Hospital.
