Pieces of jewelry with over 4,300 diamonds could be viewed in the historic Green Vault of the Dresden Residential Palace until November 2019.
Then they were stolen.
Criminal proceedings are therefore currently under way in front of the Dresden Regional Court against six of the accused.
Three of them confessed on Tuesday – after the court had previously made an agreement possible.
We analyze the legal requirements for such an agreement and discuss why the corresponding norm in the Code of Criminal Procedure is still controversial.

Also on the show: The Federal Ministry of Justice's plans for "Commercial Courts", a "Just Judgment" on the workload of judges and a competition for the 5th anniversary of FAZ objection.
