A 40-year-old appeared on Monday before the Annecy tribunal de grande instance (Haute-Savoie) for insults.

He was accused of attacking several trackers in the La Clusaz ski area (Haute-Savoie) on May 1, 2022 while he was snowboarding.

The man was intoxicated at the time of the events, indicates

He was sentenced to a fine of 1,500 euros and to pay 600 euros to one of the victims as compensation for moral damage.

Justice also prohibited him from going to La Clusaz for three years.

The snowboarder had taken a closed track due to insufficient snow cover.

After falling on rocks, he received help from a tracker.

After a second fall, the forty-something had insulted the man and grabbed another tracker before taking 15 minutes to agree to go down by sled.

He then refused for 20 minutes to get into an ambulance.

The respondent denied any violence, claimed to have been hit by a tracker and assured that the closure of the track was not indicated.
