By a republican decision, Al-Sisi allows an Egyptian diplomat to marry an Arab girl

The issue of the Official Gazette in Egypt, issued this morning, Thursday, published Presidential Decree No. 641 of 2022, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, allowing Alaa El-Din Abdel-Moneim Mohamed, the ambassador in the diplomatic and consular corps, to marry Miss Lara Talal Mohamed, who holds Jordanian nationality.

This comes in accordance with the Diplomatic and Consular Corps System Law promulgated by Law No. 45 of 1982, according to which the President of the Republic authorizes members of the diplomatic and consular corps to marry someone who belongs to the nationality of an Arab country or that has acquired the Egyptian nationality, for considerations that the President assesses for each case separately.
