According to the notice, according to the Vietnamese Constitution, the National Assembly Organization Law and the proposal of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the candidate of the acting chairman of the country, Vu Anh Xuan will serve as the acting chairman of the country until the National Assembly elects a new chairman of the country.

  Vu Anh Xuan was born in An Giang Province in southern Vietnam in January 1970. He has worked in his hometown for a long time and served as Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

In 2011, Vu Anh Chun was elected as an alternate member of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and was a member of the 12th and 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

In 2021, she was elected vice president of the country.

  On the 17th, the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam held a meeting and agreed that Nguyen Xuan Phuc resigned as a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and as the State President.

On the 18th, the 15th National Assembly of Vietnam held its third special meeting and passed a resolution on removing Nguyen Xuan Phuc as President of the country and terminating his qualifications as a representative of the 15th National Assembly.
