Vanwall.

This brand probably means nothing to you.

And yet... This British manufacturer won the Formula 1 championship in 1958. Today, he is back, on the track, and on the road with this Vandervell which pays tribute to Tony Vandervell, the industrialist who created the brand in 1951. Available in two versions (S and S Plus), this new electric model is a compact 5-door sedan, whose geometric lines are furiously reminiscent of a certain Lancia Delta Integrale.

Up to 580 hp

With its huge 22-inch rims and its British Green color, the Vanwall Vandervell makes massive use of carbon fiber.

On the technical side, the manufacturer is rather stingy with details, but we know that the car will be available in two four-wheel drive specifications.

The Vandervell S develops 320 hp and has a range of around 450 km.

Its top speed is 185 km/h and the 0 to 100 km/h is shot in 4.9 seconds.

The S Plus reaches 580 hp and can go 420 km on one charge.

It peaks at 265 km/h and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.

Both will be manufactured in Germany at the Vanwall site in Greding with a starting price set at €128,000 excluding taxes.
