During Tuesday's press conference, it emerged that it will likely be a direct procurement when the staffing of Lycksele BB is outsourced, even though the cost exceeds the limit value.
This can be done if there are special reasons, something that the Director of Health and Medical Services, Brita Winsa, believes there are.
- It is not patient safe to have closed in Lycksele, she said at the meeting.
This year, the political leadership in the region has put forward a budget with a deficit of SEK 324 million.
Regional councilor Peter Olofsson does not want to speculate if the new procurement means an even bigger negative budget.
