The original draft of the policy speech by Prime Minister Kishida at the ordinary session of the Diet to be convened next week has been revealed.

In light of the rapidly declining birthrate, the government has positioned child and child-rearing policies as the most important policy, and will proceed with consideration of specific measures and stable financial resources.

The original draft of the policy speech stressed that Japan is at a critical point in whether or not it will be able to maintain social functions due to the rapid decline in the birthrate, and that the birth rate must be reversed.

Furthermore, in promoting the "new capitalism" initiative that we advocate, we regard child and parenting policies as the most effective investment in the future.

On top of that, we will proceed with consideration of concrete measures and stable financial resources to realize countermeasures against the declining birthrate on a different level.

Furthermore, in order to achieve sustainable wage increases, the government has announced a policy to accelerate labor market reforms by standardizing the employment of applicants, reskilling (re-learning) to support skill improvement, and reviewing the conventional seniority-based wages.

On the other hand, the government plans to fundamentally strengthen its defense capabilities by securing a defense budget of 43 trillion yen over five years, and plans to raise taxes to cover the shortage of financial resources even after making maximum efforts for administrative and financial reforms. It is shown repeatedly.

In addition, we take seriously the fact that four ministers resigned one after another last year over the relationship with the former Unification Church and political and money issues, and we are trying to prevent a recurrence.
