Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov answered the following question: What if the Chechen and Russian forces lose their war on Ukraine?

What is the option available in this case?

He replied by saying that Russia is a great and nuclear power.

Kadyrov added, "Russia will never allow itself to lose in any confrontation, and it can press the button, and peace be upon you," referring to the possibility of using nuclear weapons in the war against Ukraine.

Kadyrov continued, "As our President Vladimir Putin said, what is the purpose of the survival of the world if Russia perishes? We do not want these devils to live so that we can perish. We go to heaven and they go to hell."

The episode (18/1/2023) of the “Networks” program monitored the interaction on the platforms with Kadyrov’s speech, where “Abdul-Ilah” confirms that talking about the use of nuclear weapons is evidence of the ugliness of war, so he wrote: “Thus they control the trigger with the push of a button, they may end the world.” They simply talk about this possibility. What an ugly war."

Reham mocked Kadyrov's speech, writing, "Peace be upon you, O Kadyrov, they are not like this (they do not accept Islam in this way). We still want to live (we want to live). Don't play with our nerves. War is not a joke."

On the other hand, Adnan Badri believes that Kadyrov's talk is a repetition of what Putin has repeated, and he said, "What Kadyrov is talking about about the possibility of a nuclear strike is a repetition of Putin's threats and the fear of an approaching loss, not a real threat, which is the approach of defeat only, nothing more."

In turn, Muhammad Al-Zoubi asked about the effect of nuclear weapons on the countries that did not participate in the war, and tweeted, "What does it mean if Russia loses, the world will disappear? What is the case for the countries that did not intervene in the war among you? Then, what is Chechnya's role in this war?"

Chechen participation

Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov mobilized about 10,000 Chechen fighters before the start of the Russian attack on Ukraine in order to invade and control it, and he published video clips of the first fighters who were placed under Russian command in full readiness to fight the battle.

Kadyrov bragged about what the Chechen forces had done in Ukraine, but the same forces were subjected to artillery shelling last October, and 23 fighters were killed and 58 others were wounded in the Kherson region in southern Ukraine.

Ukrainian sources said that they revealed the location of this unit through pictures on social media, and it was bombed.

Many have dubbed them the "TikTok Army", posting their shooting videos on the most popular platform.

Kadyrov has repeatedly spoken of endless successes.

He said that the Chechen forces are coordinated and effective and succeeded in repelling enemy attacks and defending strategic areas.

Not a single Chechen commander was captured during this period.

More than 21,000 Chechen fighters are participating in the war against Ukraine, and more than 9,000 others are on the front line, including fighters known as "Kadyrovtsy" (meaning "Kadyrov's followers"), who have been accused by human rights organizations, witnesses and survivors for decades of extrajudicial killings and kidnappings. and the torture of Kadyrov's opponents and critics.
