From that moment on, I was guarded around the clock, ”she said in an interview with Super.ru.
Linnikova added that for the first two weeks, the contestants were forbidden to leave their rooms and appear on the street.
“Usually we were taken in groups, but they gave me “enhanced” security – I asked for this,” the Russian woman emphasized.
She noted that the fans followed the contestants literally on their heels.
Linnikova said that a flurry of criticism fell upon her on social networks.
“A hundred times a day, they wish me the most unpleasant things on the network, mostly Ukrainians do it,” said the Russian woman.
Earlier it was reported that the contest "Miss Universe" was won by the representative of the United States of Filipino origin R'Bonnie Gabriel.
It also became known that Linnikova dropped out of the fight for the Miss Universe crown.
