Jordan.. The House of Representatives dismisses Representative Muhammad Al-Fayez.. The reason is a letter he sent to an Arab country

The Jordanian Parliament decided in its session held today, Wednesday, headed by Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al-Safadi, to dismiss Representative Muhammad Al-Fayez.

And 92 out of 110 deputies who attended the session voted on the Legal Committee’s decision related to the dismissal of Representative Al-Fayez, based on the permanent office’s decision that includes referring Representative Al-Fayez to the Legal Committee to consider the violations attributed to him.

According to the Jordan News Agency "Petra", the legal committee's decision against Al-Fayez came after confirming his violation of parliamentary and diplomatic norms regarding the manner of addressing and insulting him in a letter addressed to a sister Arab country and defaming the Kingdom through it and violating the provisions of Articles 154 and 155/1 of the internal system. The House of Representatives has those related to absence from Parliament sessions, in addition to perjury of the legal oath, unjustly receiving financial allocations during the period of his absence from Parliament, and violating the texts and rules of the parliamentary code of conduct.
