China News Agency, Beijing, January 17th. The National Supervisory Committee of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced on the 17th that recently, under the strong guidance of the Central Office of Escape Pursuit and the overall coordination of the Yunnan Provincial Office of Escape Pursuit, through the unremitting efforts of the Kunming Municipal Disciplinary Inspection and Supervision and Public Security Bureau, a pseudonym Wang Hanmin, a "red notice officer" who has been on the run for 26 years, was arrested and brought to justice in Chengdu, Sichuan.

According to the report, Wang Hanmin, male, born in June 1960, former sales manager of Kunming Cigarette Factory, was suspected of corruption and absconded in fear of crime in 1996.

In June 1999, the agency handling the case issued a red notice for him through Interpol.

In recent years, the Yunnan Provincial Office of Escape Pursuit has listed this case as a key supervision case. The Kunming Municipal Disciplinary Inspection and Supervision Agency and the public security agency have worked together to tackle the problem, and finally found important clues that Wang was hiding in the country after changing his identity, and successfully arrested him.

The person in charge of the Yunnan Provincial Escape Pursuit Office said that Wang Hanmin was arrested and brought to justice after 26 years of absconding.

In the next step, we will implement the deployment of the Second Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. We will always maintain zero-tolerance deterrence, and high-pressure punishment forces will always be there.
